TGS: Phantasy Star Online 2 coming to PC in 2011

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my great pleasure to inform you that SEGA does indeed love each and every one of us. Don't believe me? I have proof! That's right, my fellow Hunters,Phantasy Star Online is back.

Revealed during their Tokyo Game Show keynote, Phantasy Star Online 2 will be released exclusively for the PC sometime next year. Gone are the days of the pretender Universe reality, friends, and back is the familiar setting of the Dreamcast classic we all know and love. While traditionally a console outing, the series has made itself at home on the PC once before with the short lived Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst in 2004.

Be sure to continue tuning into Xugo Gaming for more details as they happen, and prepare to waste your days wandering the lobbies all over again...

UPDATE: Unfortunately SEGA has had the trailer removed from YouTube, but we will be sure to add it back to the article as soon as it gets put back online. Until then, just feast your eyes on that delicious logo, complete with the USTREAM watermark, and pretend you're listening to the funky sound of the future... online.
