The Old Republic's Smuggler Gets Its Own Wookie

The Old Republic's Smuggler Gets Its Own Wookie

If a video game is going to feature a character class based primarily on the exploits of Harrison Ford as Han Solo, that class better have a Wookie sidekick. BioWare delivers.
Meet Bowdaar, The Old Republic Smuggler's answer to Chewbacca. After 108 years as a pit fighting slave, Bowdaar developed a warrior's strength, a strong will to survive, and a nifty pair of space goggles. He'll use all of these in his capacity as Smuggler's companion in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Bowdaar's biography comes amidst a waterfall of new Smuggler information at The Old Republic's website. As Smugglers gain experience, they will be able to choose to advance as a Gunslinger or a Scoundrel. The Gunslinger relies on marksmanship to see him through tricky situations, while the Scoundrel relies on chicanery.
What would Han Solo be without the Millennium Falcon? He would be an Old Republic Smuggler piloting the Corellian XS Stock Light Freighter or as I call it, the Centennial Condor.
You'll find all of this plus a new Smuggler gameplay video waiting for you on BioWare's The Old Republic web page.
