Sega Ready To Announce Valkyria Chronicles 3 For PS3?

Valkyria Chronicles is an, arguably, under-rated RPG series from Sega. When the first title released on PS3, it didn't sell quite well in other regions besides having a decent debut in Japan. Word-of-mouth helped push the franchise into more mainstream RPG gamers. With PS3's Valkyria Chronicles, and PSP's Valkyria Chronicles 2 gained appeal in the hands of RPG fans, Sega may be readying up an imminent announcement of Valkyria Chronicles 3. 



According to some sort of registry listing (via GAF Mod Duckroll) Sega has filed some preliminary documents in support of Valkyria Chronicles 3. The document doesn't list any platforms, but my guess would be that Sega will bring this version to PS3, requiring fans to play both Sony platforms (PS3 & PSP) to experience the full Valkyria Chronicles series. The registration also lists Valkyria Chronicles 3's Japanese domain name (website) simply titled, Valkyria3.jp. TGS is right around the corner, stay tuned to Ironstar for more updates.
