An unexpected merge is planned to go down between Atlus and its parent company, known as Index Holdings. If the merge goes in a certain direction, Atlus could lose their name and distinctive logo (in turn adopting the name and logo of Index Holdings). The merge is an attempt to beef up the current management levels of the two companies.
While it's hopefully not going to affect business, it might affect Atlus' overall consumer image as their brand is already well established. The merge is expected to go down on October 1st of this year.
