White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness just came out in Japan and there’s a whole store of virtual items to buy. Everything from coconut trees to crates in every imaginable color are on sale right now.
Did we mention experience points? Players can purchase experience up tickets for 300 yen ($3.40) a piece too. Unlike the paid boosts in Tales of Vesperia, these EXP UP tickets don’t have a limit. Sony is also selling Gilda (the game’s currency) and grade points.
Want to alter your avatar? That’ll cost you too. A modification ticket goes for 500 yen ($5.60) and a complete change costs 1,200 yen ($13.50). Ouch.
